FRÖLUNDA TORG, GOTHENBURG

Frölunda Torg is Gothenburg’s premier shopping destination and one of the largest shopping centres in Scandinavia, with approximately 200 shops and more than 10 million visitors annually.

With over 3,000 staff, the centre operated a staff loyalty card and also an electronic Tags security system to enable approved staff members access to the building when the centre is closed.

Frölunda Torg not only wanted a way to communicate with staff but save time and money on the loyalty cards and Tags administration. They also wanted to expand their loyalty card to the neighbouring staff at the local hospital and office buildings to drive sales in the local area.

HOW FRÖLUNDA TORG INTEGRATED MALLCOMM

Frölunda Torg used Mallcomm to relaunch the staff loyalty and security tags process by:

  • Individual staff registration
  • Store Manager approval process to empower managers
  • Using push notifications to update users and security
  • Converting to Virtual loyalty cards
  • Streamlining the updating process

HOW FRÖLUNDA TORG INTEGRATED MALLCOMM

By integrating the security system and virtual loyalty card, Frölunda Torg were able to ensure high level of usage of the system as:

  1. The staff member needed Mallcomm to get their loyalty card and Tag
  2. The store manager needed it so the staff member could get their loyalty card and Tag

Frölunda Torg were able to control access to certain areas of the app by ensuring users had to register and be approved
